What is a VDRL Test?

The VDRL test also termed as Venereal Disease Research Laboratory is a blood examination, that monitors Syphilis, a type of Sexually Transmitted Infection (STIs) caused by a bacterium Treponema Pallidum. VDRL test checks for antibodies in the patient’s blood, produced in response to the infection.
