Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate home visits, Use a vacutainer needle to perform venipuncture, Ensure minimal discomfort for patients, Collect and handle sample orders, and Travel to various locations for home visits.

Experience and skills Proven experience in phlebotomy and sample collection, Experience with DMLT/ MLT/BMLT, Skilled in Vacutainer collection techniques, and Experience in sample collection and handling.

Inform customer about precautions/necessary pre-requisite for the test and inform the date and time for collection of the report.

• Confirm name, age, etc. to ensure proper identification of the person.
• For special tests - instruct customer about the do’s and don’ts prior to test.
• Collection of samples as per the procedure laid down in the primary sample collection manual.
• Properly dispose all biomedical waste generated during sample collection as laid down in the sample collection manual.
• Proper recording and identification of samples.
• Hand over the samples drawn to authorized person in the laboratory and ensure that sample receiving is recorded.
• Carry any other tasks as instructed by the seniors.
